We're seeking an experienced Technical Documentation Writer to support a large-scale program.

You will transform complex technical concepts and functional requirements into clear, structured content that will help stakeholders implement changes. The Technical Writer will work closely with SMEs and project managers to develop documentation.

This is an initial 6 month contract opportunity with 3 days working from home flexibility.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create comprehensive procedural guidelines that support organisational operations, corporate directives, and compliance requirements.
  • Engage with domain specialists to collect expertise and practical knowledge.
  • Partner with governance and regulatory teams to record necessary safeguards and maintain adherence to industry standards.
  • Design documentation with accessibility in mind, employing consistent organisational frameworks and terminology.
  • Support training and onboarding by integrating procedures into training programs and creating supplementary materials such as quick reference guides and visuals.

Qualifications

  • 4+ years in technical writing with a background in creating technical content for large-scale programs.
  • Some understanding of financial or regulatory frameworks.
  • Strong capabilities with documentation and tools including Confluence, JIRA, Microsoft Office suite, SharePoint, and Visio.
  • Ability to translate complex technical information into clear, concise language for diverse audiences.
  • Attention to detail with commitment to producing accurate, consistent deliverables.
  • Capability to assist with training by creating instructional content and facilitating knowledge transfer sessions.
