Overview

RACQ Patrol Officers apply mechanical and auto expertise to provide exceptional roadside assistance to members so that no one gets left stranded on the side of the road. No two days are the same, and you will be part of a team that genuinely makes a difference in people's lives.

Responsibilities
  • Provide roadside assistance to RACQ members using mechanical and auto expertise
  • Maintain a strong safety focus in all aspects of work
  • Deliver high-quality customer service and positive member experiences
  • Work as part of a team and contribute to efficient issue resolution
  • Operate within a rotating roster across a 7-day work week
  • Travel to locations across Northern Suburbs and Southern Suburbs as required
  • Complete pre-employment requirements (medical, drug & alcohol screen, criminal record check)
Qualifications
  • Trade qualified mechanic or auto-electrician/industry-related qualifications
  • Current C Class Driver's Licence
  • Demonstrated customer service experience with a focus on quality interactions
  • Strong diagnostic skills to identify and resolve issues efficiently
  • Highly organized with the ability to work autonomously
  • Willingness to work a rotating roster across a 7-day week
  • Excellent driving history with ability to provide 5-year traffic history report
  • Ability to complete pre-employment medical, drug & alcohol screen and criminal record check
  • Ability to work in locations across Northern Suburbs (Aspley, Banyo, Bowen Hills, Enoggera, Geebung, Indooroopilly, Lawnton, Rothwell) and Southern Suburbs (Eight Mile Plains, Slacks Creek)
