Job Summary

As a Credit Analyst, you will assess the creditworthiness of clients, conduct financial analysis, evaluate risks, and advise management on credit decisions. Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced setting are essential.

Required Education/Experience
  • Minimum 3 years related experience
Preferred Skills/Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics, or related field (preferred)
  • Experience in credit analysis (preferred)
  • Languages: English; French or Spanish a plus
  • Ability to travel for client meetings, industry events, or site visits
  • Knowledge of financial statements, credit reports, financial modeling
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, decision-making skills
  • Understanding of credit risk management principles
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Detail-oriented with multitasking ability
Job Responsibilities
  • Participate in credit analysis projects using financial and non-financial data
  • Evaluate client creditworthiness and recommend credit decisions
  • Monitor credit limits and payment terms
  • Maintain relationships with stakeholders
  • Collaborate with sales and customer service to address credit issues
  • Follow credit policies to mitigate risks
  • Contact customers for overdue payments and negotiate terms
  • Keep accurate records of communications and transactions
  • Respond to credit inquiries and manage credit account updates
