Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role located in Gold Coast, QLD. The Senior Occupational Hygiene Hazmat Consultant will be responsible for assessing and managing hazardous materials, conducting site inspections, performing risk assessments, and developing management plans. The role involves ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations, providing expert advice to clients, and preparing detailed reports and documentation. The consultant will work closely with clients to identify potential hazards and recommend appropriate mitigation strategies.

Qualifications
  • Experience in Occupational Hygiene and management of hazardous materials
  • Site inspection, risk assessment, and report preparation skills
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations and compliance
  • Strong communication and client management skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively with a team
  • Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Hygiene, or related field
  • Certified Occupational Hygienist (COH) or equivalent is preferred
  • Experience in the environmental consulting industry is a plus
