Rimkus is a worldwide provider of engineering and technical consulting to corporations, insurance companies, law firms, and government agencies. Rimkus experts specialise in forensic consulting, dispute resolution and construction management services, solutions for the built environment, and human factors support for the consumer, industrial, and healthcare industries.

Due to increasing demand from our local clients, we are expanding our South Australia team. We are seeking a Contracts Manager experienced in Building Construction and/or Infrastructure projects to join us as Senior Consultant. We are open to candidates seeking full-time employment or those interested in a 24-month full-time contract based in South Australia.

In this role, you will provide commercial and contractual expertise to our client who specialises in a diverse portfolio of Construction projects across Transport Infrastructure, Asset Maintenance, and Buildings.

As a member of our team, you will take ownership of client relationships, managing their day-to-day needs. Our work primarily involves identifying and managing contractual entitlements and offering expert commercial insights into cost and program challenges.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead front-end contract administration for procurement of major projects (up to $50 million).
• Prepare comprehensive RFQ packages, including scope of works, pricing schedules, and relevant contract documentation.
• Manage pre-award activities, including responding to tender queries and clarifying contract documentation.
• Oversee the full procurement life cycle from RFQ through to contract award and through to delivery.
• Monitor contract performance, variations, and compliance throughout the project life cycle.
• Assess and challenge contractor-submitted variations and change proposals to ensure contractual alignment and cost control.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders (commercial, legal, and technical) to ensure contract integrity and project risk management.

Mandatory Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years' industry experience, involving construction or infrastructure project delivery and contract management.
• Relevant tertiary qualification.
• Experience mentoring or managing commercial teams.
• Current Drivers Licence
• White Card
