Servicing Mechanic

(Servicing Cowra, Orange, Forbes, & Condobolin)

Position Overview:

In the fast-paced world of Australian agriculture, Hutcheon & Pearce understands the need for bringing John Deere machinery servicing directly to the customer. We are proud to deliver the Hutcheon & Pearce Service Truck Fleet, which offers smart, data-driven, automated care for our customers' machinery. We are constantly improving our services, which has led us to establish a new team of Service Technicians deployed across 8 NSW branches with specialised trucks to assist with servicing throughout NSW. This role requires travel within your Area of Responsibility (Cowra, Orange, Forbes, and Condobolin) to perform services on a wide range of John Deere machinery.

About You:

While a trade-qualified mechanic is ideal, we welcome applicants with strong mechanical aptitude.

Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

• Servicing and inspecting agricultural equipment
• Adhering to safety regulations during work
• Performing quality, neat, and orderly work
• Participating in service training programs
• Maintaining knowledge of John Deere and competitors' products
• Keeping vehicles, tools, and inventory in high condition
• Completing reports and forms accurately
• Tracking all time and materials used in work

Additional preferred skills and experience:

• Basic repair skills following Technical Manual procedures
• Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems
• Ability to operate diagnostic vehicles and equipment
• Proficient communication skills
• Valid MR license (assistance available)
