Overview

Greencross Midland could be your next big career move Join our purpose-built, spacious hospital where General Practice (GP) meets the Animal Emergency Centre (AEC) — all under one roof. This unique setup offers exposure to a wide range of cases, from routine consults to complex surgeries and emergency care. You'll be joining a united team of 3 vets and 7 nurses/support staff, all committed to delivering exceptional care in a warm, inclusive environment. Our Veterinary Director brings advanced expertise and mentorship in Behaviour, Nutrition, and Orthopaedics. One of our Veterinary Associates is undertaking Membership in Small Animal Medicine, enriching the clinical knowledge and collaborative learning environment.

Our Clinic Is Fully Equipped With:

  • Digital X-ray
  • Portable Ultrasound
  • Endoscope
  • Tonometer
  • Multiparameter monitoring with capnography
  • Doppler

The Facility Includes:

  • 4 consult rooms
  • Spacious waiting room
  • Dedicated treatment area
  • Surgical suite
  • ICU
  • Separate cat and dog wards
  • Isolation ward
  • Kitchen, bathroom, and office space

We're currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate veterinarian to join our expanding team. This is a fantastic opportunity for GP vets to thrive in a well-supported setting with access to mentorship and ongoing career growth.

What We're Looking For
  • Interested in general practice, or keen to blend GP with emergency care
  • Available for a part-time role, with flexible hours to suit your lifestyle
  • Able to work with autonomy and confidence, including sole charge when required
  • Committed to upholding clinical standards and delivering high-quality client care
  • A strong team player with excellent communication skills
Qualifications

To be considered for this role, you must hold a Veterinary Science qualification from a university accredited by the Australasian Veterinary Boards' Council (AVBC) and/or have completed NAVLE, AVE or equivalent examinations. For further information, please refer to https://avbc.asn.au/
