Overview

Greencross Midland is a veterinary clinic where General Practice (GP) meets the Animal Emergency Centre (AEC) under one roof. This setup offers exposure to a wide range of cases, from routine consults to complex surgeries and emergency care. The clinic supports growth in GP and emergency work with flexible opportunities to suit your interests.

You'll be joining a united team of 3 vets and 7 nurses/support staff, committed to delivering exceptional care in a warm, inclusive environment. The team emphasises learning, support, and professional development. Our Veterinary Director has advanced expertise in Behaviour, Nutrition, and Orthopaedics and mentors team members. One of our Veterinary Associates is pursuing Membership in Small Animal Medicine, enriching the clinical knowledge and collaborative learning environment.

Role

We are currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate veterinarian to join our expanding team. This is a fantastic opportunity for GP vets to thrive in a well-supported setting with access to mentorship and ongoing career growth.

What We're Looking For
  • Interested in general practice, or keen to blend GP with emergency care
  • Available for a part-time role, with flexible hours to suit your lifestyle
  • Able to work with autonomy and confidence, including sole charge when required
  • Committed to upholding clinical standards and delivering high-quality client care
  • A strong team player with excellent communication skills
Qualifications

To be considered for this role, you must hold a Veterinary Science qualification from a university accredited by the Australasian Veterinary Boards' Council (AVBC) and/or have completed NAVLE, AVE or equivalent examinations. For further information, please refer to https://avbc.asn.au/
