Holy Trinity Parish invites passionate individuals to join our pastoral team as we serve three vibrant faith communities : St Peter's (East Bentleigh), St Paul's (Bentleigh), and St Catherine's (Moorabbin).
We are restructuring our pastoral care model to better serve our community's diverse needs. We seek dedicated coordinators for roles focusing on Liturgy & Sacraments, Pastoral Care & Community Development, and Outreach & Faith Formation.
This new structure aims to enhance ministry quality while respecting work-life balance. You will collaborate with fellow pastoral workers under the guidance of our Parish Priest, contributing to a unified approach across communities.

ABOUT THE ROLE
The Coordinator will oversee duties across the three communities as outlined below.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Pastoral Care & Community Development :
- Develop pastoral visitation programs to homes, nursing homes, hospitals;
- Participate in visitation and communion ministry with volunteers;
- Promote social activities to foster community sharing;
- Provide ongoing support through programs like St Vincent de Paul and Trinity Care;
Funeral Ministry (4 hours allowance) :
Meet with bereaved families for funeral planning;Coordinate with priests, funeral directors, musicians, and volunteers;Prepare liturgical materials and organize memorials;Train volunteers in funeral ministry;Communication with Parishioners :
Prepare weekly reports for the Parish Bulletin;Communicate pastoral matters informally and formally;WHAT YOU BRING
Strong administrative skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office;Warm, values-driven personality committed to the Church's mission;Compassionate approach, especially towards those facing mental health or social isolation challenges;Excellent interpersonal skills with professional boundaries;Proactive attitude and willingness to seek help when needed;Integrity, confidentiality, life experience, and a good sense of humor.REQUIRED
