AI Product Owner

Help shape the future of business efficiency by enhancing our powerful automation platform and building the next generation of intelligent AI agents. Zudello is seeking a creative and experienced Product Owner to lead the evolution of our end-to-end FinOps solutions.

This is a unique execution-focused role. While you will contribute to the product vision, your primary responsibility is to translate that vision into reality. You will own the development lifecycle from specification to deployment, working directly with the engineering team to build, enhance, and ship our product.

From a Product perspective you will have a dual focus:

• You will be responsible for improving and expanding our current market-leading automation capabilities, which help businesses eliminate manual data entry and streamline complex workflows.
• At the same time, you will look to the future, designing the autonomous AI agents that will orchestrate entire business processes—from order-to-cash to procure-to-pay—with minimal human oversight.

As the crucial link between our vision, our customers, and our engineering teams, you will shape both the present and the future of our product.

Key Responsibilities

• Roadmap Execution: Drive the facilitation and execution of the development roadmap. Own the product backlog, lead sprint planning, and translate strategic goals into actionable user stories and detailed specifications.
• Specification & Design: Write specifications for new features and enhancements. You will work directly with the development and customer teams on design and implementation.
• Agile Facilitation: Oversee the day-to-day agile processes, including backlog grooming, daily stand-ups, and sprint reviews, to ensure the development team is unblocked and aligned on priorities.
• Operational Management: Take full responsibility for the operational side of the product, including release management, coordinating deployments, and managing post-launch communications and monitoring.
• Product Enhancement: Define and deliver enhancements to Zudello's core automation features, including AI-driven invoice capture, automated contract data extraction, customisable approval workflows, and 2/3-way matching.
• Future-State Definition: Lead the design of autonomous AI agents, defining their logic, decision-making frameworks, and exception-handling protocols to manage complex business processes.

Mandatory Requirements

• Proven experience in product management, delivering B2B SaaS products from ideation to launch and iteration.
• Demonstrated ability to write clear and detailed specifications.
• A deep understanding of how to design systems with complex business rules and logic.
• A strong focus on user experience, delivering intuitive solutions for both hands-on automation tasks and the management of intelligent agents.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and collaboration skills.
• Experience in an agile delivery environment.

Preferred Skills & Experience

• A solid understanding of AI capabilities, from practical data extraction to the logic required for workflow automation.
• Experience with workflow automation, Business Process Management (BPM), or Robotic Process Automation (RPA) platforms.
• Direct experience with Order-to-Cash (O2C) or Procure-to-Pay (P2P) business processes.
