Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Client Managing Partner to lead and manage our relationship with one of the world's most innovative global tech and streaming businesses. In this key leadership role, you will serve as the primary strategic liaison between our agency and the client, ensuring that their business objectives are met through innovative media strategies and exceptional service delivery. You will oversee a team of media professionals while cultivating and expanding the client partnership, ensuring the agency's solutions align with the client's global goals, and driving results across multiple regions.
Key Responsibilities:
Client Relationship Management:
- Act as the primary point of contact for the client, building strong, trust-based relationships at all levels of the organization.
- Ensure a deep understanding of the client's business, culture, objectives, and challenges, becoming a true extension of their team.
- Lead quarterly and annual business reviews, presenting strategic plans, performance reports, and actionable insights.
Strategic Media Leadership:
- Develop and implement forward-thinking media strategies to address the client's global tech and streaming needs.
- Lead the integration of media, creative, and digital strategies to drive cross-channel campaigns, ensuring alignment with the client's overarching business objectives.
- Proactively identify opportunities for innovation and optimization in media buys, partnerships, and performance metrics.
- Manage a team of media professionals, providing guidance, mentorship, and professional development.
- Coordinate with internal teams (media planners, analysts, creatives, and others) to ensure the timely execution of campaigns and initiatives.
- Foster collaboration between various stakeholders, both internally and externally, to drive exceptional results.
Campaign & Budget Oversight:
- Oversee the planning, execution, and optimization of campaigns across a variety of platforms including digital, social media, TV, streaming, and others.
- Manage media budgets efficiently, ensuring the optimal allocation of resources to meet client objectives while maintaining profitability for the agency.
- Regularly report on campaign performance, providing strategic insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.
Business Development & Growth:
- Identify new business opportunities within the client's portfolio, positioning the agency to win additional work and expand relationships.
- Serve as a thought leader in the tech and streaming space, bringing forward innovative ideas that will help drive growth for both the client and agency.
- Advocate for the client internally to ensure their voice is heard and their needs are met across all aspects of the agency's work.
Global Account Management:
- Navigate complex global structures to streamline processes, mitigate risks, and maximize efficiencies.
Qualifications:
Experience:
- 10+ years of experience in media, marketing, or advertising, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role working in a media agency with major global clients.
- Proven track record of managing and growing high-value client relationships at a senior level.
- Deep understanding of digital and traditional media, with expertise in driving performance and ROI for global brands.
Skills:
- Exceptional leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate, mentor, and lead cross-functional teams.
- Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities, with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
- Outstanding communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence and drive change at the C-suite level.
- High level of financial acumen with experience managing large-scale budgets and driving profitability.
