The Role

We are seeking a passionate and skilled Settlement Case Worker to join our team. In this role, you will provide culturally competent case work, advocacy, referral, and group activities to support newly arrived individuals and families to successfully settle in regional NSW.

You will work closely with clients to build independence, community engagement, and wellbeing, while also collaborating with local service providers to strengthen referral pathways and community connections.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality case work, supporting clients towards independence and self-reliance.
  • Assist clients to strengthen cultural identity while integrating into the broader community.
  • Plan, implement, and facilitate group programs and activities that increase skills, confidence, and community connections.
  • Collaborate with service providers, referral agencies, and Mosaic colleagues to deliver events, consultations, and information sessions.
  • Advocate for systemic change to improve settlement outcomes for refugees and migrants.
  • Maintain accurate client records, progress notes, and reporting requirements.
About You

You are a compassionate and motivated professional with strong cultural responsiveness and experience working with CALD communities. You bring:

  • Tertiary qualifications in community or human services (or equivalent experience).
  • Case work and group facilitation experience with individuals, families, or communities.
  • Strong communication, advocacy, and collaboration skills.
  • Knowledge of person-centred, strength-based approaches.
  • National Police Check and Working with Children Check (or willingness to obtain).
Desirable

Bachelor of Social Work or related degree.
