Job PurposeWe are seeking a highly motivated and energetic Workshop Technician who is hands-on and primarily responsible for the manufacture and on-time completion of products for projects and service & support.
This full-time role focuses on manufacturing and timely completion of Mining Technology Solutions products for projects, service, and support. The successful candidate will work well in a team and utilise tooling and information technology to assemble and configure industrial control panels to high standards.

Responsibilities- Manufacture all MTS products with high accuracy and attention to detail throughout the production process.
- Ensure quality assurance and compliance of all MTS products through factory acceptance testing procedures.
- Setup and configuration of all MTS products using IT tools.
- Prepare and pack installation hardware for hand-over to project managers.
- Adhere to and promote all MTS safety policies.
- Manufacture and fabrication of components, including cutting, drilling, and assembly.
- From electrical schematics, assemble and wire control panels and junction enclosures.
- Complete paperwork and forms related to factory acceptance testing.
- Inspect designs and finished products for compliance with specifications.
- Assist with management of inventory for parts, tools and consumables.
- Maintain required systems, processes, and documentation to support activities.
- Collaborate and communicate across business units within Mining Technology Solutions to achieve goals.
- Maintain compliance with all legislative, Mining Technology Solutions, and customer site policies and requirements.
- Reinforce safety as a top priority and contribute to a zero-accidents culture.
- Experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
- Mechanically and electrically minded.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills.
- Sound computer skills and familiarity with Windows operating system.
- Familiarity with Mining Technology Solutions.
- Previous electrical experience.
- Experience in mining and heavy industry.
- Experience with Mining Systems Technologies products or similar.
