Curtis Partnership has partnered with a well-established Top 100 AFR firm in Melbourne. The firm is seeking an Intermediate or Senior Accountant to join their team. This exciting opportunity allows you to provide expert taxation, accounting, and business advisory services, contributing to the growth and success of clients. Responsibilities:
  • Manage BAS, FBT, and payroll tax compliance
  • Assist in preparing financial statements in line with accounting standards
  • Prepare and lodge tax returns for individuals, companies, trusts, and partnerships
  • Research and resolve complex, client-specific tax issues
  • Ensure compliance with local and international tax law
  • Stay updated with changes in tax legislation
  • Reconcile tax balances and assist with tax provisions
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships
  • Mentor junior accountants on technical tax matters
Requirements:
  • 3+ years business services experience
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • A strong communicator
  • Tax law knowledge
  • Experience with tax planning, cash flow management and providing advice to clients
  • Part or full CA/CPA qualification
