The Team Leader for Business Information Services, oversees the team that develops information management strategies, practices, and solutions for capturing, managing, and utilising business information in SharePoint, while promoting ongoing business improvement.
  • Location: Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane and Perth
  • Salary between $123,444 to $144,386 (depending on experience) + 15.4 % superannuation
  • Permanent

The team

The Information & Knowledge Resource Centre (IKRC) within the Registry & Intelligence Group provides access to reliable information, supporting ASIC in fulfilling its legislative and regulatory obligations, reducing compliance risks, and offering strategic advice to drive innovation in technology, learning, and processes.

The Knowledge & Information team works closely with internal stakeholders to create and implement effective knowledge and information management strategies. These efforts help capture, share, and use information across the organisation, supporting ongoing business improvement.

The role

As a Team Leader, Business Information Services, You Will
  • Lead and support a high-performing team, encourage growth, promote a positive environment, and ensure accountability.
  • Lead the team to deliver key SharePoint business information services, including staff and performance management.
  • Achieve business goals, enhance processes, and maintain effectiveness for lasting results.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to improve SharePoint, support process improvements, and provide training.
  • Oversee SharePoint architecture to ensure best practices.
  • Coordinate effective SharePoint business information solutions, ensuring reliable access to information.
  • Support project teams in adopting customer-focused information management solutions.
  • Provide quality support for SharePoint projects, managing risks and stakeholder needs.
  • Strengthen communication with ASIC teams and senior management.
  • Contribute to team planning and business plan rollout.

About You

You will also demonstrate:
  • Tertiary qualification in Information Management or related field, or equivalent management-level experience in Information/Records Management.
  • Strong knowledge of SharePoint, M365, and relevant legislative requirements.
  • Skilled in gathering business requirements, analysing processes, and recommending improvements.
  • Experience implementing information and records management in M365 and SharePoint.
  • Proven problem-solving and analytical abilities.
  • Management experience in team development and change management.
  • Stakeholder management skills and ability to maintain positive relationships.
  • Professional association membership is an advantage.
