About The Role

The Physiotherapist Casual Pool provides short-term cover to sites and services across Hunter New England, allowing consistency of service. It offers flexibility, diversity of caseloads, and opportunities to work across inpatient, outpatient and community settings with potential to work across the lifespan. Casual staff may work in multiple sites and services within the district, depending on availability.

As a casual within Hunter New England, you will communicate your availability and location preferences on a monthly basis. Locations you can choose to work include:

  • Hunter Valley
  • Lower Mid-North Coast (including Taree and Forster)
  • Tamworth area
  • Armidale and Inverell areas
  • Narrabri and Moree areas
  • Greater Newcastle

You will receive thorough site orientation and ongoing support from senior staff and the wider team. There are opportunities for professional development, online learning, and occasional accommodation support dependent on availability.

  • Have current Authority to Practice with AHPRA and strong communication skills.
  • Demonstrate commitment to professional development and evidenced-based practice.
  • Be able to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
