Reporting to the Director of Infrastructure and working closely with each of the site Executive General Managers, the Group Manager Facilities & Asset Management will provide strategic and operational leadership across Epworth's hospital sites, overseeing facility operations, preventative and corrective maintenance, asset lifecycle management, renewal programs and contract management. This role will play a critical part in supporting the capability uplift of Epworth including the improvement of processes and systems, while embedding robust asset management practices.

With a portfolio spanning five Site Facilities Managers and over 30 FTE, the position will lead the design and implementation of an enterprise-wide asset management system, standardise processes across sites, and address contract overholding while strengthening reporting and data-driven decision making. Success will depend on stabilising teams, building capability, and reducing reliance on single-person knowledge to ensure sustainable operations.

We are seeking candidates with extensive facilities and asset management experience in complex environments, ideally within hospitals or healthcare. Strong expertise in asset management systems, contract governance, compliance, and facilities operations is essential, along with a track record of leading change and uplifting teams. Collaborative, pragmatic leadership and the ability to mentor and build capability will be critical to success.

Responsibilities

Qualifications
