Join our exciting new Master of Professional Psychology program to train the future psychology workforce in Western Australia. This is a full-time appointment on a tenurable basis.

About The Area

School of Psychological Science comprises over 40 teaching and research staff dedicated to educating thousands of undergraduate and postgraduate coursework students. We are one of the world's leading research schools, training over 120 PhD students, and disseminating ground-breaking research from international experts in Applied Psychology, Developmental Psychology and Cognitive Psychology. Our teaching and research are academically rigorous and drive positive change in psychosocial health and wellbeing, workplace health and safety, and global concerns like climate change and transportation safety.

About The Opportunity

• Contribute to the teaching in the Master of Professional Psychology, and the administration, operation and/or promotion of the program.
• Teach and assess didactic material, and help to develop, teach and assess clinical skills to prepare students for placements and work as psychologists.

About You

• Masters or Doctoral degree qualification in Psychology.
• Endorsed as a Clinical Psychologist with the Psychology Board of Australia (PsyBA).
• Approved as a supervisor for higher degree psychology trainees by the PsyBA.
• Demonstrated emerging excellence in developing and delivering curricula with innovative teaching approaches, assessment and materials for units and courses.
• Demonstrable experience leading public engagement activities that promote research and/or education outcomes, government and industry outcomes.

Note

A current National Police Clearance Certificate, Finance Check, Working with Children Check, and a "C" class driver's licence will be required by the successful applicant.
