DS ELECTRICAL AND A/C SERVICES PTY LTD is a well-established company working within the Solar Farm Operation and Maintenance sector in Central Queensland, Darling Downs.

We are seeking Operation and Maintenance Electricians to join our team for our Solar Farm projects in Chinchilla.

About the Opportunity

We are looking for team members with extensive knowledge of rules and regulations, who are highly motivated and committed to producing high-quality work.

The successful applicant will:

  • Be motivated with an excellent work ethic.
  • Possess their own hand tools.
  • Have at least two years of relevant work experience.
  • Hold or be willing to obtain:
    • Construction White Card
    • Driver's licence
    • Low Voltage Rescue/CPR training
    • High Voltage Switching certification
    • The required electrical licence

The successful applicant will:

  • Devote their full attention and skills during normal business hours and as reasonably necessary to perform duties and responsibilities.
  • Perform duties diligently and exercise powers consistent with the electrician position as assigned by the Company.
  • Promote the interests and reputation of the Company.
  • Conduct themselves ethically and in accordance with professional standards.
  • Complete tasks such as terminating and connecting cables, fault finding with electrical testing instruments, and rectifying faulty wiring and parts.
  • Perform circuit compliance tests.
  • Install solar power systems and test for proper operation.
  • Modify electrical control systems, equipment, and wiring as needed.
