Communications Manager (Affirmative measure Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander employment)
We are seeking motivated and experienced Communications Managers to join our specialised teams within our ATO Corporate business area. You will lead a high-performing team responsible for developing and implementing strategic communication initiatives and managing digital ATO channels in support of the ATO's corporate objectives. You'll drive meaningful outcomes for both the organisation and the Australian community.
You will build strong relationships with business partners, senior stakeholders and third parties to plan, develop, implement and evaluate marketing and communication strategies, projects, products and events. Depending on the position, you may also manage digital communication channels that enable the ATO to reach millions of taxpayers across Australia and beyond. Through this work you'll foster engagement, strengthen partnerships and support the delivery of clear, consistent and impactful messaging.
These roles may be offered on an ongoing or non-ongoing basis in Adelaide, Albury, Box Hill (VIC), Brisbane CBD, Canberra, Dandenong, Geelong, Hobart, Melbourne CBD, Moonee Ponds, Newcastle, Parramatta, Penrith, Perth, Sydney CBD, Townsville, Upper Mount Gravatt or Wollongong.

Responsibilities- Lead and manage a communications team to develop and implement strategic communication initiatives.
- Oversee management of digital ATO channels to support corporate objectives.
- Develop, implement, and evaluate marketing and communication strategies, projects, products and events.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with business partners, senior stakeholders and third parties.
- Foster engagement and deliver clear, consistent, and impactful messaging across channels.
- Adapt responsibilities to various locations where roles may be offered on an ongoing or non-ongoing basis.
- Motivated and experienced Communications Manager or equivalent with a track record of leading teams.
- Strong ability to plan, develop, implement and evaluate strategic communication and marketing initiatives.
- Experience managing digital communication channels and stakeholder relationships.
- Ability to work across multiple locations and adapt to different teams and projects.
