About The Role & About You

Join our passionate Children's Services team as a Family Day Care Field Officer. In this dynamic role, you'll support and supervise home-based childcare educators, ensuring their environments meet national regulations and quality standards. You'll conduct regular home visits, provide guidance on inclusive practices, and assist with planning engaging programs for children aged 0–12 years.

Your expertise will help shape safe, nurturing, and culturally responsive care settings. The role also involves liaising with families, assessing placements, and contributing to service improvement initiatives. Ideal candidates will hold a Diploma or Degree in Early Childhood, possess strong communication and organisational skills, and have experience working with diverse communities.

Please ensure you address the key selection criteria outlined in the position description as part of your application.

The successful candidate will be asked to produce a clear Working with Children Check and will be asked to consent to a national police check (and where relevant an 'international criminal history check'), subject to the operation of spent conviction laws.
