About the role

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Early Childhood Educator (Diploma / Cert III) to join our team at Hobartville Long Day Preschool in Hobartville, NSW. We are a small 39 place not-for-profit service that has been open for 37 years and is well established and respected in the community. We foster a warm, inclusive and innovative environment, where our team of dedicated educators work together to nurture the growth and development of each child in our care.

This is a full-time role. We offer paid lunch breaks, option to work a 40 hour week and accrue RDO's and rostered 2 hours programming time off the floor per week.

What you'll be doing

Assisting our experienced early childhood educators in providing high-quality care and educational programs for children aged 0-5 years

Participating in the planning and implementation of developmentally appropriate activities and experiences to support children's learning and development

Ensuring a safe, nurturing and inclusive environment for all children in our care

Engaging with families and building positive relationships to support each child's individual needs

Completing relevant training to maintain your formal Early Childhood Education and Care qualifications

Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build positive relationships with children, families and the wider team

A commitment to delivering high-quality care and engaging learning experiences

The ability to work collaboratively as part of a team

Valid Working with Children Check

Eligibility to work in Australia

Current First Aid Certificate

CPR Certificate

Asthma and Anaphylaxis training

Knowledge of Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and National Quality Standards (NQS)

Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care OR Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care
