Overview

KBR, Inc. – Project Manager, Construction (Alice Springs, Northern Territory, Australia). This contingent position is based upon contract award and located at a 4,400-acre facility with approximately 687,000 square feet of mission and support space. This role is expected to be onsite 100%.

KBR's National Security Solutions team provides high-end engineering and advanced technology solutions to our customers in the intelligence and national security communities. In this position, your work will have a profound impact on the country's most critical role – protecting our national security.

What You'll Do
  • Develop detailed project plans, ensuring resources are available and timelines are feasible.
  • Budgeting and cost management to keep the project within financial constraints.
  • Contract administration including negotiation and oversight of contracts with subcontractors and suppliers.
  • Quality control checks to deliver projects that meet all agreed specifications.
  • Lead and motivate a multidisciplinary project team and resolve conflicts.
  • Ensure all legal, safety, and environmental regulations are strictly observed.
  • Report regularly on project status to executives and other stakeholders.
Qualifications
  • Must be a US or Australian citizen
  • Must possess a US TS/SCI with Counterintelligence Polygraph or AUS PV Clearance
  • Minimum of five years of experience as a project manager
  • Project management skills such as time management, budgeting, resource management and scheduling
  • Preferred Qualifications – Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Construction Management or related area
