Role OverviewWe have a full-time (38 hours per week) receptionist opportunity at Townsville Airport. Based at Townsville Airport, the Administration team provides effective support to enable airport operations.
The successful candidate will support a professional environment with strong customer focus and excellent organisational skills, and be proficient with Microsoft Office. While experience in a similar role is desirable, comprehensive training will be provided.
The base ordinary hourly rate of pay for this position is $31.92 excluding superannuation.
Key Responsibilities- Administration: handle mail, word processing, data entry, and maintain up-to-date lists and registers.
- Manage appointments and coordinate meetings and events, including catering.
- Provide administrative support for airport operations, such as visitor passes and car parking, ensuring smooth coordination and documentation.
- Oversee the handling and tracking of lost property, ensuring items are logged, stored securely, and appropriately actioned.
- Provide general administrative support to the Airport team to ensure smooth operations.
- Reception: be the welcoming face of Townsville Airport Management Centre, deliver exceptional customer service, answer and manage phone calls professionally, and maintain a presentable reception area.
- Financial and Procurement Support: create and manage Purchase Orders, book staff travel, and order office and operational supplies to maintain stock levels.
