As the Principal Workforce Analyst, you will provide analysis, reporting, and interpretation of workforce data from various sources to various audiences, ensuring data is reliable and subject to quality governance processes.

Your Core Responsibilities Will Be To

  • Lead a team delivering workforce-related reporting and data analysis functions.
  • Oversee the delivery and maintenance of dashboards (currently Power BI based) to provide self-service workforce information to stakeholders.
  • Prepare analyses to guide workforce strategy initiatives and programs to build capability and support operations.
  • Prepare briefs, reports, and submissions on workforce topics, including HR reporting, estimates, questions on notice, audits, and ministerial inquiries.
  • Provide education, advice, and support to users of workforce data for interpretation and insight.
  • Engage with People and Culture and the broader Corporate Services Division to create meaningful insights from data.
  • Establish and maintain effective relationships with clients and service providers, representing People and Culture at relevant meetings.
  • Support and promote the interests of First Nations people and contribute to better outcomes for First Nations communities.
