Strategy and Operations Lead, Business Strategy Operations

Google is seeking a Strategy and Operations Lead for Business Strategy Operations. This role focuses on setting go-to-market strategy, shaping priorities and resources to accelerate business growth, and commercializing new Ads products. The team builds go-to-market infrastructure, from tooling to developing business skills and ensuring flawless execution and operations against desired outcomes and priorities. GTM teams are embedded across major Ads business areas and global teams.

This position involves investigative and strategic work with a pragmatic approach to execution.

Responsibilities
  • Define project scope, focus areas, and analysis needed to uncover opportunities and drive stakeholder alignment to deliver business impact.
  • Gather data and conduct analyses supporting ongoing hypotheses that inform executive discussions and generate insights.
  • Produce analysis, thought leadership, and perspectives; assist with problem structuring and executive communication for business planning within the team.
  • Engage and collaborate with executive stakeholders and cross-functional partners to obtain support for product activation programs and strategies.
  • Design and implement operational processes within your aligned domain.
Qualifications
  • Minimum qualifications:
    • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
    • 6 years of experience in management consulting, business operations, business strategy, investment banking, venture capital, or corporate advisory, or 4 years of experience with an advanced degree.
    • Preferred qualifications:
      • Experience in Business or Product and Strategy Consulting.
      • Experience in digital ads products.
      • Knowledge of the business cycle.
      • Excellent problem-solving, project management, business acumen with knowledge of digital ads and Google's business.
      • Excellent networking and collaboration skills, with the ability to work across multiple functions.

This team is responsible for setting go-to-market strategy, shaping priorities and resources to accelerate business growth, and commercializing the next generation of Ads products (from representing the customer to advocating for product requirements to ensuring teams are equipped to drive customer growth, product adoption, and revenue health at scale). This team plays an important role in building excellent go-to-market infrastructure from tooling to enhancing GBOers business skills and ensuring flawless execution and operations against desired outcomes and priorities. GTM has teams embedded in major Ads business areas as well as global teams that work across business areas. Team members are investigative and strategic with a pragmatic sense of how to get things done.
