Zweck is an internal Group Services division that partners with Aizer Group. We are recruiting for a casual Restoration Technician for our partner Westaway Restorations. We are seeking candidates who are eager to work, enthusiastic, reliable, and have some contents restoration/labouring experience.

Westaway Restorations has been servicing the Restoration Industry throughout Northern NSW and South East Queensland for over 30 years. We operate 24/7 to attend to emergency and non-emergency claims for the Insurance industry, including water damage, fire damage, and mould remediation. The Role

We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join our experienced team on the Gold Coast. If you seek a challenge and a career of continuous learning, this industry is for you.

The role involves learning all aspects of restoration, such as extraction, cleaning, sanitisation, structural drying, fire damage cleaning, and mould remediation—meaning no two days are the same. Onsite training will be provided in all aspects of restoration, along with internationally recognized IICRC certifications. Experience in building or cleaning industries, especially contents restoration, is advantageous.

  • A strong work ethic, positive attitude, and tidy presentation
  • Honesty, reliability, and trustworthiness
  • Availability for on-call emergency work (weekends & overtime as rostered)
  • A willingness to learn
  • Attention to detail

Requirements

  • Current Driver's Licence
  • Willingness to undergo drug and alcohol testing
  • Police check clearance
  • Willingness to obtain a Working with Children Blue Card
  • Willingness to obtain a WHS White Card
  • Building trade or restoration experience is advantageous
  • Customer service and problem-solving skills
