This permanent 'People & Culture Business Partner' role reports to the GM, People & Culture, supporting ~300 staff for a long-standing NDIS service provider in Melbourne's western suburbs. The client delivers diverse services to hundreds of participants, with a values-driven, people-centred approach focused on service excellence and inclusivity.
Base pay rangeA$120,000.00/yr - A$120,000.00/yr
Responsibilities- Provide operational HR advice, support, and coaching to managers
- Lead and manage employee relations processes (grievances, disciplinary actions, investigations)
- Support compliance and accreditation requirements (including organisational accreditation targeted early 2026)
- Partner on training, development, and engagement initiatives
- Administer and optimise HRIS (ELMO) and strengthen HRIS usage
- Drive culture and change initiatives aligned with organisational growth
- Coaching and capability building for managers
- Deliver HR projects (engagement surveys, analysis) and provide insights
- Proven HR generalist experience in Aged Care, Disability Services, or the NFP sector
- Knowledge of the SCHADS Award (highly desirable)
- Experience in employee relations, including grievances and disciplinary actions
- Effective coaching and business partnering skills to build manager capability and trust
- Proficiency with HRIS and other systems, ideally ELMO
- Attention to detail and strong follow-through to ensure efficiency
- Experience leading or supporting training, development, and change initiatives
- Warm, approachable, empathetic style while maintaining professional standards
- Salary - A$120,000 + Super + Salary Packaging
