About the role
As the Restaurant Manager for Mum's Kitchen, you will oversee the daily operations of our restaurant located in Tranmere, SA 5073. This full-time role is essential for ensuring smooth operations and delivering an exceptional dining experience to our customers.
What you'll be doing
- Manage and coordinate all front-of-house staff, including servers and hosts, to ensure efficient and friendly customer service.
- Oversee inventory management and ordering of food, beverages, and supplies to maintain optimal stock levels.
- Develop and implement staff training programs to improve customer service and operational efficiency.
- Monitor and adjust daily operations, such as reservations, staffing, and table management, to optimize workflow and customer experience.
- Handle customer inquiries, feedback, and complaints professionally and promptly.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and licensing regulations.
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to align front-of-house and back-of-house operations.
- Manage staff schedules, time-off requests, and performance reviews.
- Contribute to marketing and promotional strategies.
What we're looking for
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a restaurant manager in the hospitality industry.
- Excellent customer service skills and the ability to foster a positive dining environment.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills to handle daily challenges.
- Proficiency in inventory management, cost control, and financial reporting.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Knowledge of food safety, liquor licensing, and relevant regulations.
- Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
