About the Role

Teaming up with a supportive Relationship Manager, you'll help look after a portfolio of Agribusiness customers, providing a great opportunity to build industry expertise. Role Schedule : Full Time (40 hrs/week)

What will your day look like?

Working with your Relationship Manager, you'll manage a portfolio of customers by:

  • Proactively developing and maintaining a detailed understanding of the customer's business and financial needs
  • Acting in the best interest of the customer and applying a customer-centric approach to support their business needs with suitable products and services
  • Providing appropriate solutions for account maintenance and customer needs
  • Maintaining a well-managed, compliant portfolio according to policies and procedures
  • Controlling workflows across all compliance and customer fulfillment processes
  • Collaborating with product partners and stakeholders to fulfill customer needs

What will you bring?

To succeed in this role, you will ideally have:

  • Prior experience in frontline commercial banking roles and commercial lending
  • Ability to manage strong customer relationships, handle service queries, and resolve minor issues
  • Strong communication skills to assist customers effectively
  • Attention to detail when reviewing agreements and contracts
  • Ability to assess a customer's credit obligations considering qualitative and quantitative factors (the 5Cs of credit)
  • Capability to manage multiple tasks, customer documentation, banking transactions, and communications
  • Familiarity with risk management concepts, especially in credit, market, and operational risk
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements such as KYC and AML
  • Preferred agricultural industry experience and awareness
  • Preferred tertiary qualifications in Commerce, Business, Economics, Accounting, or Ag Science/Economics
