Site Construction Manager - Solar

The client Enemix are closely supporting at this time is a market leader in the development, construction and ownership of Utility Scale Solar and Battery Energy Storage projects with a proven record in the Victoria region. Due to growth in the project pipeline they are looking for an experienced Construction Manager with a civil background to join their expanding team and lead delivery of a new grid connected solar project.

This role will focus on the execution phase of projects, starting from preparing the civil scope for construction, mobilization of site and managing the construction & installation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work closely with the onsite EPC/Construction team including contractors, suppliers, and stakeholders to ensure HSE standards, cost and quality standards are met.
  • Support the Project Manager and wider team in planning, organising and coordinating site activities, reporting issues and developing suitable solutions.
  • Quality check of delivered items from both internal and third-party sources, ensuring installation standards are achieved.
  • Focus across the civil discipline of a utility scale solar project, ensuring full compliance with Australian standards.
  • Ensure compliance with HSE standards and safe execution of work.
Your Background
  • Bachelors degree in Engineering (Civil) - Relevant experience can substitute formal education for this role.
  • Proven experience in construction management, preferably within the energy sector and within a civil focus.
  • Strong communication skills both written and verbal.
  • Valid Australian driver's license.
  • Self-motivated, able to work remotely and independently within a collaborative environment.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities with a proactive and diligent approach.
  • Ability to balance quality, time, and cost pressures effectively.
