We have an exciting opportunity for a casualHousekeeper to join the team at Spicers Balfour Hotel in New Farm, Brisbane. As our new Housekeeper, you will be integral in delivering the Spicers famous 'relaxed luxury' accommodation experience to our guests.

Located in a beautiful Queenslander home in the fashionable Brisbane suburb of New Farm, Spicers Balfour Hotel holds a comfort and level of service that sets it apart from other hotels in inner Brisbane. Shaded courtyards, gorgeous art deco suites, an award-winning restaurant, a rooftop bar and friendly, personal service add to the feeling of relaxed luxury. The luxuriously distinctive style of this 17-room boutique hotel is both unique and welcoming.

The Role and Key Duties

  • Room servicing and check-out cleaning on a daily basis, to the Spicers quality standard;
  • Cleaning the Restaurant, rooftop bar and other common areas;
  • Participating in our sustainability practices within housekeeping;
  • Conducting inspections to monitor cleanliness of rooms & public areas.

Criteria Required to be Considered

  • Availability and willingness to work a rotating roster of weekdays and weekends;
  • A strong work ethic and commitment to high standards;
  • Reliable vehicle to commute to and from work.
