Gilgandra Shire Council is seeking Care Workers to join the team at Cooee Lodge Aged Care Facility

Casual, Part-time and Full-time positions available.

About the position

This role provides a range of care services to residents.

  • Part-time, full-time and casual positions available
  • Weekly pay cycle
  • Salary $30.88 per hour plus applicable penalty rates
About you :

Council is looking for someone who has the following qualities, experience and/or qualifications:

  • Current First Aid Certificate or working towards
  • Experience working with and empathy towards the elderly
  • Understanding of dementia
  • Good communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Demonstrated ability to work as part of a team
  • Demonstrated commitment to training
  • Understanding of Work Health & Safety
  • Annual Flu Vaccination
  • Certificate III in Aged Care or willingness to obtain
  • Ability to comply with documentation requirements
