Our Melbourne Campuses are looking to welcome full-time Diploma qualified Early Childhood Educators with at least two years of full-time work experience in an Early Childhood setting to join a friendly, supportive, and fun team. This is a full-time role for a Diploma qualified Room Leader with an annual salary of $68,865 to $78,000 + Super, depending on qualifications and experience.

• Ensure child safety and welfare at all times by actively supervising and interacting with children.
• Educate and care for children to high standards, engaging them in meaningful, open interactions that support life and learning skills.
• Interact with each child in a warm and responsive way and build trusting relationships.
• Foster a nurturing environment for children at the campus.
• Provide childcare services that comply with national regulations, the National Quality Framework (NQF), and support the Early Years Learning Framework.
• Contribute to documentation for Quality Improvement Plan (QIP) requirements.
• Ensure delivery and maintenance of routines and programs specific to the room, including small groups.
• Implement the Grow curriculum within the Campus.
• Document children's learning through the OAC Connect app and support/mentor other team members.
• Create and set up engaging learning environments aligned with OAC Grow.
• Work as part of a team, supporting and respecting colleagues about developmental outcomes and school readiness in consultation with the Campus Director.

• Inspire children through play-based and interest-focused activities
• Mentor a team of Educators through educational guidance
• Create meaningful partnerships with families, children, and educators to achieve positive outcomes
• Plan and program with support from the OAC Grow Curriculum and EYLF
• Maintain ongoing records of the children's development
• Assist with daily room tasks, e.g., activity preparation and meal times
• Maintain an ongoing commitment to child safety and wellbeing in everyday practices

Locations include Melbourne City, Melbourne East, Melbourne West, North Melbourne, and South Melbourne.

• A Diploma in Early Childhood Education from a recognised Registered Training Organisation (or ACECQA approved equivalent)
• Minimum of two years full-time relevant work experience
• Genuine passion for Early Childhood education and development
• Creative, supportive, and cooperative team player
• Current Working with Children Check (Employee)
• Strong understanding of the National Quality Framework and EYLF
• Programming, planning, snapshots
• Ability to manage the team within the room
