Our Client

Our client buys and processes scrap metal from businesses, other recyclers and the general public.

What You Will Be Doing

  1. Operate the weighbridge system to accurately record incoming and outgoing loads
  2. Liaise with truck drivers, contractors and customers in a professional manner
  3. Complete data entry and maintain accurate records of loads and dockets
  4. Perform general administration duties including filing, reporting and answering phone inquiries
  5. Assist with site safety requirements and ensure compliance with procedures
  6. Provide support to site operations as required

What Will You Need

  • Previous weighbridge, administration or site-based experience highly regarded
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy with data entry
  • Good communication and customer service skills
  • Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office or similar)
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively
  • Must pass a pre-employment medical including drug & alcohol screening
  • Current drivers licence and reliable transport
