Weighbridge Attendant

Temp 12 Months | Weighbridge Operator | Cheltenham | Parking / Public Transport | $30 - $35 + Super

**Responsibilities**:

- Inspecting and assessing customer loads and charging accordingly
- Assessing the weights of trucks / vehicles & products
- Directing vehicles and assisting with traffic management on site
- Attending to customers promptly and professionally
- Answering customer calls and providing correct information
- Assisting customers with garden supply enquires and booking in jobs
- Regular communication on the UHF radio with staff
- Reporting and communication with all site operators
- Balancing the till/float/EFTPOS daily
- Maintain an organised office space
- Deal with suppliers to order garden supply products
- Organising purchase orders / invoices
- Understanding of truck sizes, tare weights and skip / bulk bin sizes (highly desirable)
- Understanding recycling and waste material (highly desirable)
- Strong Administration and Customer Service skills
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Highly organised and strong attention to detail
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Reliable, flexible, and positive can-do attitude
- Team player and able to work autonomously
- Cash handling and EFT
- Good computer skills
- 2 x COVID vaccinations
