Overview

Security Operations Center (SOC) Analyst role focusing on detecting and responding to security incidents, coordinating across teams, and strengthening organizational defenses.

Responsibilities
  • Analyze diverse data sources enriched with threat intelligence to detect and respond to security incidents, ensuring minimal disruption and operational continuity.
  • Investigate technical events such as malware, forensics, and incident escalation, while collaborating across teams to coordinate defenses and share insights that support key business functions.
  • Manage and respond to cybersecurity incidents, with emphasis on incident handling, analysis, and resolution.
Basic Qualifications
  • 4+ years of experience managing and responding to cybersecurity incidents
  • Strong skills in incident handling, analysis, and resolution
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication abilities
  • Proven ability to collaborate effectively across teams
Preferred Qualifications
  • Relevant industry certifications (e.g., CISSP, GCFA, CYSA, Security+)
  • Experience working with global teams and intelligence-sharing groups
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms and reporting in technical environments
  • Deep understanding of threat intelligence tools and security controls
  • Highly organized, self-motivated, and able to prioritize in dynamic settings
Details

This is a hybrid role (3 days per week onsite) out of the client\'s Sydney, Australia office. No sponsorship is available now or in the future.

Compensation

Base pay range: A$165,000.00/yr - A$185,000.00/yr
