We are seeking a skilled Maintenance & Grounds Officer committed to maintaining the safety, functionality, and appearance of our facilities through proactive maintenance and repair work.

Location : St Paul's Aged Care, Caboolture - QLD

Part-Time Position (30 hrs fortnight | 2 days per week)

Requirements : Gardening experience essential; aged care experience desirable

Remuneration : $28.11 - $29.67 per hour + Super + Salary Packaging + Staff discounts & benefits

About The Role : In this hands-on role, you'll manage the day-to-day maintenance of buildings, gardens, and grounds, ensuring safety, tidiness, and upkeep.

Key responsibilities include :

  • General maintenance and upkeep of lawns, gardens, and common areas
  • Performing scheduled preventative maintenance and external cleaning
  • Identifying and reporting risks, working to minimize them
  • Undertaking administrative tasks related to maintenance
  • Managing external contractors and minor projects
  • Using equipment safely and responsibly
  • Your work helps maintain a safe, welcoming environment for residents, staff, and visitors.

About You :

Experience in commercial maintenance and groundskeeping, preferably in aged care or similar environmentsStrong problem-solving skills and attention to detailAbility to follow safety procedures and maintenance schedulesProactive team player with customer service focusValid Police Check and Queensland Driver's Licence
