Community Support Worker | Permanent Part-Time | Tweed Heads, NSW

Are you passionate about making a real difference in people's lives? We're seeking a dedicated Community Support Worker to join our team in a permanent part-time role, supporting clients across the Tweed Region, covering Tweed to Murwillumbah and surrounding suburbs.

A Day in the Life

  • Personal Care — Assisting with hygiene, grooming, dressing, mobility, eating, and safe transfers
  • Domestic Assistance — Helping with cleaning, laundry, meal preparation, and light gardening
  • Social Support — Providing companionship and encouraging engagement through conversation and activities
  • Transportation — Supporting clients with shopping, appointments, and community access

What You Bring

  • Previous experience in community or aged care support (including domestic duties)
  • Certificate III or IV in Individual Support/Aged Care (with transcripts)
  • Current First Aid Certificate (or willingness to obtain one)
  • Current driver's licence and access to a registered, insured vehicle
  • Willingness to travel up to 45–60 minutes
  • Full COVID-19 vaccination highly desirable
  • Minimum 20–30 hours per fortnight, with potential to increase after probation
  • Availability to start shifts from 7:00 AM on weekdays
  • Ideally available 3–4 weekdays, including Fridays
  • Alternating weekend availability highly desirable
  • Successful applicants must complete a National Police Check and provide proof of work rights in Australia
