The Role

This is a pivotal finance leadership role responsible for overseeing management reporting, financial operations, and compliance for the Financial Advisory division across multiple entities. Reporting to a Financial Controller, you will manage a finance team and play a key role in supporting strategic decision-making through accurate, timely financial insights and operational oversight.

Responsibilities

Lead month-end close, revenue recognition, and financial reporting in line with global deadlines
Manage Accounts Receivable and Payable functions, overseeing debtor management and intercompany reconciliations
Provide financial analysis and reporting to senior management, identifying risks and opportunities
Prepare forecasts, budgets, cash flows, and quarterly VAT returns
Maintain accuracy of balance sheet reconciliations and financial controls
Support audit processes and ensure local regulatory compliance
Develop, mentor, and manage a small finance team, driving continuous improvement and best practice
Act as the primary interface with external banks and internal finance counterparts globally

The Candidate

To Be Successful In This Role, You Will Have

Previous experience in a finance leadership or management accounting role within the professional services industry (essential)
A relevant professional accounting qualification (CA, CPA, ACCA, or equivalent)
Strong technical accounting knowledge and financial reporting experience
Excellent analytical skills with a sharp attention to detail
Proven experience managing a small finance team
High-level interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders
Proficiency in Excel; experience with NetSuite is advantageous but not essential
A proactive, resilient mindset with the ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
