Overview

Digital Director (Media Agency) – Melbourne, Australia. Base pay range: A$110,000.00/yr – A$140,000.00/yr. Real pay determined by skills and experience. Please discuss with your recruiter for details.

The Opportunity
  • Lead a large team of media buyers, planners, strategists and digital experts in a senior leadership role
  • Work on three major clients within the retail and food sectors
  • Mentor a small team of digital buyers, planners and strategists
  • Manage key client relationships and act as the first point of contact for digital marketing
  • Coordinate and implement performance-focused digital media campaigns
  • Communicate with clients on expectations, performance, strategies, and timelines
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver results-focused work
  • Generate client-centric reports on budget, conversion, traffic and creative performance
  • Stay updated on developments, trends and strategies across digital platforms
  • Ensure deliverables meet account goals
  • Budget management, forecasting and reporting
  • Client and stakeholder liaison
  • Quality assurance and technical development (front-end, back-end)
  • Strategic development and contributions to business development (pitches and proposals)
You
  • Currently based in Melbourne
  • Minimum 8+ years in digital marketing with leadership experience
  • Experience with Google Analytics, SemRush, Ahrefs, Tag Manager, AdWords, SEO, and Google algorithms
  • Understanding of Meta platform advertising best practices in strategy and optimization
  • Previous experience managing teams required
  • Relevant tertiary degree
  • Strong problem-solving, negotiation and conflict-resolution skills
  • Proficient in project management and documentation
  • Excellent networker with ability to build lasting client relationships
  • Passion for digital marketing with knowledge of social media, emerging technologies, e-commerce, hosting/video hosting, testing/QA
  • Skilled in online advertising campaigns (paid and organic)
  • Budget management and reporting experience preferred
  • Excellent verbal and written communication
