About The Position

Our Bar and Gaming team plays an important role in our Club operations. Wests Nelson Bay currently has a full-time opportunity available for a customer-focused individual. Wests Bar and Gaming operations provide quality service to our members and guests in both indoor areas and thoughtfully appointed outdoor spaces, including designated smoking areas. Key responsibilities include:

  • Provide friendly customer service
  • Preparation and service of beverages
  • Operation of Tab and Keno terminals
  • Cleaning of workstation and equipment
  • Operation of tills and cash handling
  • Collect glasses from the floor and return to bar areas for cleaning

This position requires availability to work across a 7-day rotating roster. Shifts are scheduled from the evening through to early hours of the morning during peak periods, including summer, public holidays, and school holidays. Availability during these seasonal peaks is essential.

Certifications required: RSA & RCG

All candidates progressing to the next stage will be required to complete relevant due diligence and probity checks, including a Criminal History Check, reference checks, and right to work verification. All costs are covered by The Wests Group.
