Legal Assistant (Personal Injuries) at Maurice Blackburn Lawyers

We are seeking a Legal Assistant to join our Brisbane Personal Injuries team on a 12-month fixed term contract.

Overview

Our personal injuries team is dedicated to protecting the rights and entitlements of our clients. This role supports clients and the team in a busy environment with a strong focus on client service and administrative excellence.

Responsibilities
  • Answer and manage incoming calls
  • Diary management
  • File management and preparation of correspondence, court documents, and briefs of evidence
  • Provide day-to-day administrative support
Qualifications
  • Law student or experienced Legal Assistant
  • Experience in plaintiff or defendant law, preferably within a Personal Injuries practice
  • Excellent communication, attention to detail, and ability to work with a diverse range of clients
  • Strong organisational and time management skills
  • Team player with proficiency in Microsoft Office
