What's it like to be a Project Manager at Prime Build?

Are you an accomplished Project Manager with proven experience in live environment and in the retail fit-out/refurb sectors? Do you want to work with impressive blue-chip clients? Want to be part of our journey as we reinvent the building experience?

As a Project Manager, you'll work closely with Senior Management and lead teams to execute projects across the retail, government/care & education sectors. You'll be joining a close-knit & high-performing team committed to delivering quality outcomes for our customers.

What a day in the life looks like:

  • You will lead, mentor & challenge project teams to think differently about construction
  • You will build strong relationships with clients, subcontractors & key stakeholders
  • You will ensure works are completed in line with Prime Build's Quality standards
  • You will manage and have the budget, costing, P&L reporting responsibilities
  • You are uncompromising when it comes to the safety of anyone that interacts on our sites

About You
  • 3+ yrs PM experience in commercial construction
  • Previous experience in fit out/refurb & live environments is essential (e.g., supermarkets), new build/structures highly desirable, structural/civil knowledge a plus
  • Experience with other Head Contractors
  • Commercially astute - proven ability to manage project financials & undertake cost reporting
  • Proficiency in industry programs/software (e.g., Jobpac, Procore)
  • Track record of delivering commercial projects between $1-10M
  • Ability to lead project teams & operate with a true One Team spirit
  • Attention to detail and quality
  • Right to live & work in Australia
