Field Worker

About the role

As a Field Worker (Roads and Drainage), you will be part of the roads and drainage district team responsible for maintaining council infrastructure. Your main focus will be to undertake general maintenance across roads, easements, and drainage channels to help our community move easily around the city.

Key responsibilities include:

• Undertake detailed maintenance of roads and drainage
• Operate plant and equipment
• Participate in planning, hazard identification, and risk assessment of work activities
• Work as a team and provide feedback to the team, council officers, and customers

About you

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• Current C Class Driver's Licence
• Current Medium Rigid (MR) Driver's Licence (highly desired)
• Experience in civil construction (highly desired)
• A focus on proudly enhancing the quality of life for the community

This is a full-time position with a salary starting at $68,049 plus 12.5% superannuation.
