Our Vacationer Program
As a William Buck Vacationer, you will experience first-hand how your university studies translate into a career path. Our program will give you a taste of what you can expect as a professional within an accounting and advisory firm by being involved in real-world work and projects, learning as much as possible, and leaving our program excited about the future.
What does the William Buck Vacationer Program offer?
- 5 weeks of on-the-job and structured learning opportunities.
- An insight into daily life at a mid-tier firm, our clients, and our people.
- Support from day one with a dedicated buddy and manager.
- Exposure to a wide range of client engagements.
- Social events and networking opportunities – it's not all work
- The first chance at being offered a Graduate position starting the following year.
We are currently seeking Vacationers to join our Wealth Advisory team in January 2026 for 5 weeks.
Our Wealth Advisory division offers a holistic approach to assisting high-net worth individuals and corporate clients. This includes estate and trust administration, wealth management, investment strategies, portfolio management, and succession planning.
As a Vacationer, you will be responsible for preparing investment reports, preparing insurance renewals, investment portfolio administration, booking reviews, and more.
What do I need to be successful?
- Eagerness to learn as much as possible and ask our managers endless questions
- A genuine interest in a career within Wealth Advisory.
- A positive outlook and a willingness to make the most out of each day.
- Studying a relevant degree such as Banking and Finance, Financial Planning, or Finance.
- Being in your penultimate year of study.
What happens next?

- Video Interview & Online Assessment with our Early Careers Advisor, Evelyn.
- Face-to-face Interview: You will be invited to interview with team members from the division you applied to.
- Offer: You become a William Buck Vacationer
