The William Buck Vacationer Program offers a unique opportunity for students to gain hands-on experience and skills in a real-world setting. As a Vacationer, you will be immersed in the day-to-day activities of our Wealth Advisory team and have the chance to work on real client projects.

  • Structured Learning Opportunities:
  • 5 weeks of on-the-job training and learning experiences.
  • An insight into daily life at a mid-tier firm, our clients, and our people.
  • Support from day one with a dedicated buddy and manager.
  • Exposure to a wide range of client engagements.
  • Social events and networking opportunities.
  • The first chance at being offered a Graduate position starting the following year.

We are seeking talented individuals to join our Wealth Advisory team for 5 weeks. Our Wealth Advisory division offers a holistic approach to assisting high-net worth individuals and corporate clients. This includes estate and trust administration, wealth management, investment strategies, portfolio management, and succession planning.

As a Vacationer, your responsibilities will include preparing investment reports, preparing insurance renewals, investment portfolio administration, booking reviews, and other tasks.

To succeed, you must demonstrate:

  • A strong eagerness to learn and grow professionally.
  • A genuine interest in a career within Wealth Advisory.
  • A positive outlook and a willingness to make the most out of each day.
  • Relevant degree in Banking and Finance, Financial Planning, or Finance.
  • In your penultimate year of study.
