Overview

This role serves as a strategic catalyst—delivering data-driven insights and actionable recommendations that sharpen Hostplus's planning accuracy, deepen member understanding, and drive long-term business performance.

Responsibilities

• Partner with the Head of Strategy to deliver the annual strategic and business planning cycle
• Monitor external market dynamics including member behaviour, competitive landscape, and regulatory changes
• Develop dashboards, reports, and presentations that distil complex information into impactful strategy narratives
• Support performance reporting including Quarterly Business Reviews and Member Outcomes Assessment
• Lead the Hostplus customer insights program, managing external research engagements and internal survey delivery
• Oversee survey design and data management across platforms such as InMoment and Qualtrics
• Translate research findings into business-focused recommendations and operational strategies
• Equip cross-functional teams with insights that align to strategic goals and support continuous improvement

About You

• Minimum 3+ years in a strategy, planning, or research-focused role
• Proven expertise in strategic planning, business performance analysis, and competitive benchmarking
• Advanced analytical capability with experience interpreting complex data sets
• Proficiency in data visualisation (Power BI, Tableau) and digital survey tools
• Demonstrated ability to craft high-impact reporting materials for senior stakeholders
• Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration skills
• Experience in both qualitative and quantitative research methods
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Management, Economics or related discipline
