Description Are you interested in how the world works? Have a knack for making the complex simple? We're looking for a passionate and curious Research Analyst to help take Equity Mates to new heights.Across video, audio, written content and social media, Equity Mates reaches hundreds of thousands of Australians each month and helps them understand what is happening in markets and what is possible when they take control of their money. You will have a role in shaping it all.
Your role will start with researching interesting topics, the news moving markets and upcoming guests, and then turning that into emails, video scripts, podcast episodes and social media content.
This role is ideal for someone who is a constant learner, enjoys self-directed research, and has a knack for making complex topics simple.

Role Responsibilities Planning & Production
- Research topics and develop episode ideas across podcast and video formats.
- Create show outlines, briefing documents, guest guides, and data summaries.
- Monitor financial news, market trends and audience conversations for content ideas.
- Work closely with hosts and producers to ensure content is clear, accurate and engaging.
- Support editorial planning and the content calendar across Equity Mates Media.
- Strong research and writing skills.
- Background in finance, economics, journalism, or content creation is a plus - but not essential.
- Able to explain complex financial ideas in a simple, engaging way.
- Curious, detail-oriented and organised.
- Confident collaborating across teams and comfortable in a fast-paced environment.
- Passionate about investing, financial literacy, and media.
