We're looking for experienced physios & OTs in Melbourne to provide mobile services- as a contractor on very much your own terms

Moving Healthcare is growing Right now, we're a mobile physio and OT provider covering many parts of metro Melbourne, but we're open to expanding our catchment area if the right people present themselves We're also looking to grow our Telehealth OT services, so if you're an OT anywhere in Australia, this is your sign.

Our enquiries are currently around 80% NDIS, but we also see many Home Care Package and private paying clients. We're actively diversifying and expect to see more aged care work, especially with the changes coming from Home Care Packages to the new Support at Home program. We love working with older adults, supporting people to stay mobile and enjoy a better quality of life.

About you :

Qualified physio or OT with at least 2 years community or disability sector experience (no new grads, sorry)Registered with AHPRA and have an ABN, or willing to get oneThe usual compliance stuff you'll find out more about if we both decide this is a good fitConfident working with NDIS participants (or keen to upskill)Empathetic, adaptable, real, and reliable

The role :

Provide home or community-based therapy to clients (NDIS, HCP, private) ages 7+Assess, set goals, and provide hands-on and / or functional therapy as clinically indicatedDocumentation and reporting as requiredDecide your caseload, days, and hours — we work around your life, not the other way around

You'll do well here if you're patient, a team player, and able to balance your other commitments alongside this work. That only works if our team is responsive, so we would ask that you check your phone for MHC messages at least twice a day, even just for a quick look and message react. We're working hard to make things as easy as possible for everyone, so things run smoothly for clients, referrers, you, and me.

You'll be a contractor. I'm conscious not to cross into sham contracting territory, but I do strive to create a genuine, warm, and supportive team culture. Plenty is still a work in progress here. Some people find that part of the charm, for others it might not suit, and that's fine.
